Subscriptions

What do I get with Premium?

Unlimited quizzes, every quiz type (including the map quizzes, Neighbours, Languages, Which Language? and Driving Side), the regional packs (ten countries, from US states to Japanese prefectures), practice for the countries you got wrong ("My Mistakes"), and quizzes of up to 40 questions. The free version includes 5 quizzes a day in the Flags and Capitals modes, the Daily 10, the Survival and Against the Clock challenges (each run uses one of your free quizzes), plus the whole Learn and Progress sections.

How do I restore my subscription on a new device?

Sign in with the same Apple Account, open Atlas Quest, tap the gear icon on the Play tab, then tap Restore Purchases.

How do I cancel?

In the app, tap the gear icon on the Play tab, then Manage Subscription. You can also cancel in the iPhone Settings app: tap your name, then Subscriptions. Premium stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.

How do I get a refund?

Payments are handled by Apple, so refunds are too. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Using the app

When do my free quizzes reset?

At midnight, local time on your device.

What does "mastered" mean?

A country is mastered after you answer 3 questions about it correctly in a row. A wrong answer resets that count.

Why is my progress missing on my other device?

Progress syncs through iCloud between devices signed in to the same Apple Account. Check that you're signed in to iCloud on both devices and that Sync with iCloud is on (gear icon on the Play tab). Changes can take a few minutes to arrive.

What is the Daily 10?

A free daily quiz of 10 questions that mixes the countries you find hard with ones you haven't seen yet. It doesn't use up a free quiz.

How do I turn on the daily reminder?

Tap the gear icon on the Play tab, then turn on Daily Reminder and pick a time. Each day it brings a flag or capital question (tap it to answer) or a geography fact, and you only get it on days you haven't played yet. Under Content you can switch to a plain streak reminder instead.

How do the daily puzzles work?

Shape of the Day and Border to Border are the same for everyone and change at midnight, your local time. They're free, and you can share your result when you finish.

How do I play with a friend?

On the Play tab, choose Pass and Play to take turns on one device, or Online Duel to play against a friend or another player through Game Center (you need to be signed in to Game Center).

How do the leaderboards work?

Survival and Against the Clock scores go to Game Center leaderboards for today, this week, this month and all time. Sign in to Game Center in the Settings app to take part.

How do I start over?

Tap the gear icon on the Play tab, then Reset Progress. This deletes your quiz history and mastery on all your devices and can't be undone.
