Atlas Quest

Privacy Policy

Effective 19 October 2026

The short version

Atlas Quest does not collect any personal data, and we never receive your information. There are no accounts of our own, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and the app contains no third-party code that does any of these things. The optional features that go online, iCloud sync and Game Center, are Apple services that use your Apple Account.

What stays on your device

To show your progress, the app saves your quiz results, which countries you have mastered or need to practise, and how many free quizzes you have used today.

Unless you use iCloud sync (below), this information is stored only on your device. It is never sent to us. It may be included in your device backups (for example iCloud Backup), which are handled by Apple.

You can delete your quiz history at any time with Settings › Reset Progress, or delete everything by removing the app.

iCloud sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, the app keeps a copy of your progress (your quiz results and how well you know each country) in your own iCloud account, so it is the same on all your devices. Apple stores it for you; we can't see it.

You can turn this off in Settings › Sync with iCloud. Settings › Reset Progress also deletes it from iCloud and your other devices.

Game Center

If you are signed in to Game Center, the app sends your Survival and Against the Clock scores to the Game Center leaderboards and reports your achievements. Other players can see your Game Center nickname and scores, depending on your Game Center settings.

In an online duel, your Game Center nickname, the topics you chose, how far you've got and your score are sent to your opponent through Game Center while you play.

Game Center is run by Apple and covered by Apple's privacy policy. We don't receive your name, Apple Account or contact details. If you aren't signed in to Game Center, nothing is sent.

Siri and Shortcuts

The app's shortcuts run on your device. When you use them with Siri, Apple handles your request as described in Apple's privacy policy; we receive nothing.

Reminders

If you turn on the daily reminder, the app schedules notifications on your device and keeps a list of the ones it has shown there, so you can see them again. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.

Subscriptions and payments

Premium subscriptions are sold and managed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, Apple Account, or payment details.

The app asks Apple, on your device, whether you have an active subscription so it can unlock Premium features. Apple's handling of purchases is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings › Manage Subscription or in your Apple Account settings.

Children

The app is suitable for learners of all ages. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published in the app and on this page with a new effective date.
